Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 26 July 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to ValiCred. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ValiCred website and the academic advisory, unit waiver strategies (The Drop), and credit mapping services (The Stack) provided by us. By submitting an inquiry, uploading documents, or purchasing a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Provided and Right of Refusal
ValiCred provides strategic guidance and custom blueprints to assist students in applying for academic credit, unit waivers, and formal appeals. Payment structures vary depending on the specific service requested (see Section 5).
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate agreements, or cancel invoices at our sole discretion at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where we suspect academic misconduct, fraudulent documentation, or abusive behavior.
3. No Guarantee of Academic Outcomes
ValiCred provides expert advice, document review, and strategic mapping based on our analysis of general university policies. However, the final decision to grant academic credit, approve unit waivers, or overturn a rejection rests entirely with your specific educational institution.
ValiCred does not guarantee that any application, submission, or appeal will be successful.
We accept no liability for rejected applications, denied appeals, disciplinary actions by your institution, or any subsequent academic outcomes resulting from the use of our blueprints or advice.
4. User Responsibilities and Accuracy of Information To provide accurate audits and blueprints, we rely on the information you supply.
You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete academic transcripts, syllabi, job descriptions, and employment history.
You agree not to submit altered, falsified, or forged documents.
ValiCred accepts no liability for failed applications or incorrect advice resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by you.
5. Payment, Pricing, and Refund Policy
Our services are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Due to the custom, 1:1 nature of our advisory services, the following payment and refund terms apply:
Upfront Payment Services: Services including, but not limited to, Document Verification and Rejections & Appeals require payment in full at the time of submission before any work commences.
"Quote First, Pay Later" Services: Services such as The Drop and The Stack begin with a free initial eligibility scan. You will only be invoiced after we have assessed your documents and confirmed the scope of work.
Payment Finality: By completing a payment via our secure gateway for either upfront or invoiced services, you agree to the quoted scope of work.
Delivered Work: Once a custom Drop report, Stack game plan, appeal, or document review has been delivered to you, the service is considered fully rendered.
The ValiCred Guarantee: You are compensating ValiCred for the preparation, analysis, and strategic mapping, not the final university decision. However, we offer a maximum assurance guarantee. If you purchase the maximum number of unit waivers recommended in your initial audit, and your educational institution ultimately declines every single one of those applications, ValiCred will issue a 90% refund of your total report fee. To claim this refund, you must submit the official, unedited proof of all rejections from your university using the specific claim form linked in the email that delivered your report. You have exactly 90 days for the Drop and 12 months for the Stack from the date your ValiCred report is delivered to submit your evidence; after this time period, the refund window officially closes. For more information regarding the refund period and the exact evidence required to process a claim, please check out our full Refund Policy. We do not offer partial refunds for individual unit rejections.
Major Failures: Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or a re-supply of the service if there is a "major failure" (e.g., if we fail to deliver the purchased blueprint entirely).
6. Intellectual Property
All custom blueprints, writing prompts, stack structures, and strategic guides provided to you by ValiCred remain the intellectual property of ValiCred. These documents are provided for your personal academic use only. You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, or share these materials with third parties or other students.
7. Third-Party Platforms
ValiCred utilizes third-party platforms for document submission, payment processing, and data analysis (including, but not limited to, Tally and Stripe). For artificial intelligence data analysis, we exclusively utilize Google Gemini. We specifically chose Google as our sole AI provider due to its industry-leading security framework and rigorous data protection standards, ensuring your academic data is never processed by unverified or less secure platforms. We employ multiple, rigorous quality control checks and manual reviews to ensure the high accuracy of our strategic mapping. However, you acknowledge that AI-assisted tools are utilized during the generation of our reports. While we are not liable for data breaches, downtime, or inherent errors stemming from the use of these third-party platforms, we stand by the quality of our service. If you identify any issue or inaccuracy in your delivered report, be sure to get in touch with us immediately and our team will promptly correct it. Ultimately, it remains your responsibility to review and verify the final application details prior to submitting them to your university.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ValiCred, its founders, and contractors from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms and Conditions, your use of the Website, or your submission of falsified or fraudulent academic documents.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ValiCred shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to delayed graduation, lost tuition fees, loss of employment opportunities, or academic disciplinary actions, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
10. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ValiCred regarding our services and supersede all prior communications or agreements.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
